Origin
Quebrada Garnacha Rosado originates from La Rioja, Spain’s most renowned and historically significant wine region. Established in 1925, the Denominación de Origen Rioja was elevated to the prestigious DOCa status in 1991. The region stretches along the Ebro River, south of the Cantabrian Mountains, and is divided into three subzones: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa, and Rioja Baja. These areas offer ideal conditions for viticulture, with limestone-rich and iron-bearing soils as well as gravel deposits that shape the structure and distinctive flavor profile characteristic of Rioja wines.
